Levin’s continues to look for more and more ways to recycle and reduce energy consumption in our stores. Specifically, we have already:
- Installed solar panels in two of our stores
- Continued to convert more lighting to energy efficient light bulbs
- Implemented programmable digital thermostats
- Utilized motion sensitive lighting, only activating the lights when needed
- Incorporated the use of all “green” cleaning products
- Converted all outside lights to be on timers; shutting most off when not necessary
- Recycled products including napkins, paper towels, and printing paper
